forgotten notds

Hey everyone!
Today I'll show you three NOTDs that I've either forgotten to post or just weren't the quality that I look for when creating a manicure.

I'll begin with the most recent. For this NOTD I started with a white base. Using the dry brush  method, I created strokes using a lavender and pastel yellow polish. Once these coats were dry, I used a black polish and stamped zig-zag lines using plate BM-423.

For the second NOTD, once again I started of with a white base, but this time I used a matte polish. I stamped an image from the plate BP-42 using a matte black polish.

The third and last NOTD is kind of a nail fail. I really don't like the way it turned out, but I was kind of inspired by other nail bloggers that post their fails once in a while just to show that you can't always get it right :) I used a vibrant yellow as a base and stamped an image from plate BP-L004 using black.

empties #15

Hey everyone!
During the following few days, I will schedule a couple of posts just to keep the blog kind of alive. I'm not going to go into detail about what is happening, but long story short I have a lot of stuff going on and unfortunately less and less time for my blog. Hopefully, soon that will change. In the meantime, I did use up quite a few products and I will be posting more empties. I apologize if some of you don't like these posts, but that is the only thing I have time to do.

Redberries Exfoliating Shower Gel by Yves Rocher

I really loved this product, even though I had some trouble understanding its concept. It's a shower gel, but it had exfoliating particles. I normally use my shower gels on a sponge and, naturally, had problem with this product since all of the little seeds got stuck in the sponge, but when I used it without a sponge I kind of felt like it didn't foam up at all and felt the need to go over my skin with another shower gel. Smells wonderful, but probably wouldn't purchase again.

Sensual Mystique Rose and Jasmine Shower Gel by Avon

Let me begin by saying that I'm absolutely not the biggest fan of rose scent. It makes me nauseous and I just dislike it in general. However, this shower gel has a really relaxing mixture of rose and jasmine and fortunately the rose wasn't overwhelming at all. I really enjoyed it, both for the scent and the way it made my skin really soft. Already bought another one :)

Strawberries & Cream Bubble Bath by Avon

What I really loved about this product is that it creates the most amazing foam. I just loved it, even though I don't have a bath tub :) The smell can be a little too much. It smells like strawberry candy, rather than real strawberries, it has a really sweet and sugary scent. I don't know if that is making any sense, but it just reminded me of candy quite a lot. I felt like it didn't do anything special to my skin, but it's pretty fun in the shower.
Vanilla Shower Body Lotion by Balea

When I first saw this product I though to myself that this might just be the solution for people like me who absolutely despise using body lotion no matter how dry my skin is. I will blame laziness a bit, but it's more about having to wait minutes for the lotions to get absorbed and I'm just way to impatient for that. Anyway, I enjoyed using this product sooo much and I can't wait to buy another one. First of all, being a vanilla fan, I just loved the scent soooo much. It made my skin really soft and hydrated without wasting time applying and waiting for the regular lotion to dry.

Advanced Techniques Smooth As Silk Hair Shampoo by Avon

I kind of hate myself for giving Avon's hair shampoos another shot, because they are the most horrible shampoos I've ever used. My hair was a sticky mess for a month as I was struggling to finish this shampoo. I was literally using a pea sized drop and my hair is very long and thick and I still couldn't get this product out of my hair. It's just a horrible mess and I regret spending my money on it.
